The experimental drought hazard map shows the percent of area in each region where seasonal rainfall and/or NDVI to date are below the 20th percentile. Three different definitions can be displayed: (1) the percentage of area combining both NDVI and rainfall below the 20th percentile. (2) the percentage of area with rainfall below the 20th percentile and (3) the percentage of area with NDVI below the 20th percentile.
